Administrative Notes • Bid Opening will be 3:00 PM, Thursday 30 May 2013 at City Hall • Bid Bonds required • Please include completed CDOT Forms 605, 606 and 621 • CDOT funded project • DBE & OJT Goal = zero • Davis Bacon wages not required • Substantial completion by 30 Sep 2013 • All RFI’s should be in writing and sent via e-mail to: walspach@city-woodlandpark.org or celeste.raine@urs.com • Staging area – TBD and negotiated between the Contractor and property owner

  8. Channel Fill and Reclamation • Within the Easement: • Per plans and specs • City Engineering Specs (Title 7; Section 7.5.2.1. Utility Mains – available on line) • 95% Modified Proctor (ASTM D-1557) unless otherwise directed • Contractor is responsible for all QC & soils testing • City may do some QA testing • Outside the Easement: • Will require special attention • See supplemental plans

  9. Alternative Pipe Materials • Proposals will be evaluated separately • Decision to use alternative pipe materials will be collaboratively evaluated and approved by the City, the property owner and CDOT • Must include: • Recent experience with similar 72” and 84” pipe diameters • Crew shall also have recent experience with large diameter pipe installations (i.e. Project Superintendent, Foreman, etc.) • Provide references • Provide QC plan
