  1. Black mambas (dendroaspis polylepis) are the most dangerous snake in the world. The black in it comes from their black mouth not the scaly skin. Black mambas are also the fastest snake in the world. Black mamba’s speed is 15 miles per hour. Black mambas can be 7” to 8” long. They are also the longest poisonous snake in Africa. They eat birds, mice, and rodents. If you get bit by it, you will die within 10 minutes without a drug. It also may cause paralysis. So be aware of black mambas!
