Kinder Morgan expects to announce expansion plans for their various terminals by the end of the year. Shipyard already has coal handling infrastructure; an existing berth and NS and CSX rail access. The facility once exported coal and was converted to an import facility. The port can handle panamax vessels sailing with tide.
