  2. Otherwise known as the Sie command The only command form where you use the “you” in the formation of the command. Formation: Infinitive + Sie Examples: Fahren Sie! Drive! Gehen Sie! Go! Gehen Sie geradeaus! Go straight! Formal Command

  3. Otherwise known as “du” command Does not use “you” in its formation Used when talking to one familiar person Verb form: Du conjugation – the –st Formation: Geh! Go! Fahr! Drive! Iss! Eat! Nimm die Prüfung! Take the test! Familiar singular command

  4. When the infinitive stem ends in the following endings, and –e is added to the “du” command form: d, t, dn, tm, chn, fn, gn, ig Examples: Öffne die Tür! Antworte bitte! Additional -e

  5. Otherwise known as the “ihr” command. Used when talking to more than one familiar people. No “you” needed in formation. “ihr” form of the verb is used. Geht! Go! Fahrt! Drive! Esst! Eat! Nehmt die Prüfung! Take the test! Plural familiar command
