Paper Size • 1) letter size: 8½-by-11 inch • 2) No greater than 6½-by-9 inch (A4 paper)
Margins • Standard: 1 inch at the top and bottom and on both sides • Also accepted: the default format of Microsoft Word processor for A4 size
Text Formatting • Typeface: Times New Roman • size: 12 points • Do not justify the lines of text at the right margin • Turn off the automatic hyphenation feature • Leave one space after a period or other concluding punctuation mark • One side print • 1.5 line space (as ruled in 學生手冊)
Capitalization of your title • See MLA 3.6.1 • Basic rules • The usage of colon
Place for Page Numbers • The upper right-hand corner, one-half inch from the tip and flush with the right margin • (its format will be for quiz)
