This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to print single-sided copies using college printers. Using Print Preview 1. Click on > PrintHere, you can see apreview of the document you are printing to the right of the screen.You can also change your printerand print settings from this screen.
Default printing at the College is double sided (back to back)! • To print single sided, click on printer properties located under the Printer section on the print screen. 2. Under the Printing Shortcuts tab, on the right hand side of the window, you will find different drop-down options available to change. You will want to Change the Print on both sides option to say No. After changing this option, you will click OK on the bottom of the Window. 3. After doing this, also make sure that it says “print one sided” under your settings section of the print preview screen. • Printing Single Sided Copies
1. From the print screen you may select which printer you wish to send your document.Printers: SC227P1 & SC227P2 b/w printers: costs $.05 SC227P3 COLOR printer: costs $.25/page2. On the base of the computer you are using there will be a label with the printer # andtray that specific computer will print to. After you finish adjusting your print settings and are ready to send your document to the printer, click the Print button. • A print pop-up screen will appear stating how many pages will print, how much the job will cost to print and how much money is currently in your print account. • Pay special attention to the # of pages. If you have a 10 page document and you want it single sided but says it is printing 5 pages – you can cancel at this point without being charged for printing and go back to change to print to single-sided. • If the job costs more $ than is in your account, please see a staff member.
