  5. Dixie’s Mission Statement Dixie Heights High School is a community of learners dedicated to nurturing, challenging, and motivating students to meet high expectations. Through creative and rigorous teaching, we encourage students to work toward their potential success in the world tomorrow.

  7. Goals? • Reflect back to mission! • What are you currently doing? • We want goals each and everyone can strive toward on a daily basis • Write down three goals you are currently striving toward with your students. (Try to stay away from specific content roles)

Freshman Coordinator • Enroll new students • Monitor failure rates • Design remediation • Small group counseling • Create, monitor, & teach classroom guidance lessons • Complete and implement performance contracts • Create and implement freshman specific activities • Aid in the transition of students from middle school

  9. Freshman Principal • Discipline Students-assure a safe and orderly environment • Monitor and guide teacher/team development and professional growth • Monitor progress of the academy and create necessary change • Monitor SOS and Core Content implementation
