  2. Why are we doing this? • Established format. • Loads of resources. • Would be challenging. • Would be a lot longer than a normal multicam shoot at Uni.

  3. Show Breakdown • 30 minute length, with two 3 min ad breaks at 10 minute intervals. • 2 contestants, 1 host (actors). • 15-20 audience members (volunteers). • Everything is scripted. • Treating as if live.

VFX Breakdown • Opening Sequence • Question 1 appears at bottom of screen + 4 blank boxes (black boxes, blue outline, orange and white text) • Answers appear in boxes as host says them. • Answer box that contestant chooses turns orange, then flashes and turns green if correct. • Blue box with £100 and two lights either side appears at bottom of screen. • Same process for questions rest of questions • After question 5, half screen shows the 50-50, ask audience, phone a friend icons plus a list of money prizes, with the total the contestant is on highlighted in orange. • Ask the audience – Bar chart showing percentages of audience’s answers (question + answers still on screen) On right of screen. • 50-50 – two answers disappear from the answer boxes. • Half screen list shows up with Ask the Audience and 50-50 icons with red crosses over them (indicating they have been used) • Phone a friend – 30-second countdown, white numbers with orange circle running around it. On right of screen. • Contestants name + Millionaire appears at bottom of screen (If the million is won)

  6. SFX Breakdown • 71 separate music tracks and sound effects. • All official music. • Constant music throughout – everything mixes together seamlessly.

  7. Screenplay • 23 page screenplay. • Includes all questions plus banter and conversation. • Will seem natural. • Room for flexibility if time runs short.
