FVTC Background District established in 1967 in Appleton, WI 3rd largest District in WI Serve 45-50,000 people annually 7,100 degree-declared students (80 associate degree & technical diploma programs) 35,000 taking CEU courses 1,500 career program students graduate each year Serve 1,900 employers w/ contracted training each year Generate $7.5 million in contracted training (Accounts for 22% of all contracted training by WI Technical Colleges)

FVTC Venture Center Background Small Business courses offered at FVTC since the mid-80’s FVTC launched E-Seed™ Innovative Entrepreneurship Training Series with City of Appleton in 2000 2002 FVTC and UW-Oshkosh SBDC partner to market E-Seed™ 2004 The FVTC Board of Trustees approves Strategic Initiative for full-blown entrepreneurship center The Venture Center launched in September 2005 www.venturecenterwi.biz
