  2. “So why do you call Me ‘Lord,’ when you won't obey Me? I will show you what it's like when someone comes to Me, listens to My teaching, and then obeys Me. It is like a person who builds a house on a strong foundation laid upon the underlying rock. – Luke 6:46-49

  3. When the floodwaters rise and break against the house, it stands firm because it is well built. But anyone who listens and doesn't obey is like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will crumble into a heap of ruins.”– Luke 6:46-49 (continued)

IF I HAVE CHRIST AS MY FOUNDATION…  MY DIRECTION IS CLEAR We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters. – Romans 8:28-29

  14. 2. IF I HAVE CHRIST AS MY FOUNDATION…  MY DESTINITY IS SECURE

  15. I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from (God’s) love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.– Romans 8:38-39
