I am going to teach you some new grammar today so that you will shine above all the rest later! I will give you plenty of help, all you have to do is pay attention! Let’s Get Started! (Click Here)

  5. Prefix Pass PREFIXES!! • Prefixes can be easy to spot. Here are some cool ways that you’ll be sure to hit a hole-in-one with prefixes: • Prefixes are ALWAYS beforethe root word • They usually have 2 or 3 letters • They completely change the meaning of words • You can cover up what you think the prefix is and still have another word

  11. Suffix Sand-Trap • If you guessed that something was hooked on to the tend of all of the root words, then you were right! We call these special syllables suffixes. • Like we saw just a second ago, suffixes come after words. This means that in order to see these cool endings, we have to look at the root word’s end!   15. Pretty & Beautiful • Both words describe the appearance of something • Example Sentences: That girl has a pretty face. That girl has a beautiful face. • Both words can be used to describe the same thing

  37. Okay, so a suffix is a couple of syllables that are attached to the end of a word. Some common suffixes that we know are: ly ful ness Alright, I think I’m ready to try it again!
