  2. Teacher Once again we light the candle. We know that God is with us. The world becomes quiet and peaceful in autumn. God, as a mother who quietens her child, we know that you are with us. We will sing our song and thank God for autumn.

  3. Teacher: Let us thank God for looking after us. All: Thank you, God.

  4. For looking after the animals. Thank you, God.

  5. For looking after the flowers and the plants and the trees. Thank you, God.

  6. For looking after the birds. Thank you, God.

  7. Thank you, thank you, thank you God For everything that lives Plants and bees, fruit and trees And the food that autumn gives.

  8. Thank you, thank you, thank you God For peace and quiet and sleep. Each night and day in autumn time, When I am in your keep.
