This report summarizes a proximity analysis of Seattle Public Schools conducted by GEB2J, Inc. Lead GIS engineers Elena Garcia, Janet Lee, Jennifer McClure, Gabriel Ng, and Bryce Niekamp evaluated the risk of schools located within 200 feet or less from various hazard areas. The assessment identified significant hazards including liquefaction, steep slopes, sensitive soils, flood plains, and potential slide areas. Notably, the analysis highlighted three schools of concern: Alki Elementary, Concord Elementary, and Martin Luther King Elementary, pinpointing necessary safety considerations.
