  1. Southern California Chapter of the MRA April 2006 Monthly News Bulletin PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE Spring is here!!! Warmer weather and daylight savings time!!! It was great to see many of you at the Las Vegas conference this month. We really had a good turn out of first time attendees from our chapter, which was very encouraging. I also want to thank the members who were so gracious in volunteering their time at the conference. It was very much appreciated by the Las Vegas conference committee. Without out you it would have been impossible to keep track of attendance at the sessions, opening reception, and lunches. – Ginger Blazier, President, SoCal MRA Chapter UPCOMING CHAPTER EVENTS Neti-quette: A Simple Guide to E-mail Do’s And Don’ts  Presented By: Ed Sugar, VP, On-Line Communications and Marion G. The Socal Chapter did its part by providing the volunteers for the sessions & meals. We thank the volunteers and Harriett Huntley, SoCal Membership Director, who coordinated the scheduling. Our chapter also contributed by a Platinum sponsorship, a $200 raffle donation – proceeds went to the Autism Society of America, offered a SoCal Education Day package worth $400 (Brad Larson, President of the Southwest Chapter was the lucky winner.), and sponsored the drink tickets for the opening reception.
