MISSION : • The Huda Clinic is a faith-based initiative founded on the Islamic principles of kindness & philanthropy.  Our mission is to promote health and wellness by providing quality free health care, pharmaceuticals, and preventative services to the uninsured. We recognize health care as a basic right and nondiscriminatory.

Scope Of Services: • An annual health fair; • Job and Health Counseling and referral; • Free health clinic; • Out patient health Assessments, • Blood pressure screening, • Diabetic screening, • General eye Exam, • Health promotion, preventive and education • Health Resource and social work services • Lab Services

  5. Statistics: • The community for which the Huda Clinic serves is 80% African –American, 20% being white and Immigrant population, or non-white other than African-American. The area for which we serve has an unemployment rate of 16%. The median income for this area is $27,000 and has a poverty rate of 28%. The top three health conditions plaguing this community are: • 1. Heart disease • 2. Cancer • 3. Diabetes • 4. Hypertension • 5. Chronic illnesses

  6. Accomplishments: • Initially Clinic was opened fortnightly on Saturday for one full year. All medical and administrative services were provided to the above mentioned population exclusively free and the response was tremendous so, the Board Directors decided to open clinic on every Saturday. All staff is serving voluntary. • Total numbers of patients are currently seeing 30-40 on every Saturday. Hours of operation are 10-2.00pm for patients.
