Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited. 9 Purpose: To encourage the transition of SBIR projects into the BMDS Currently two solicitation periods per year: January 28/June Any firm with open, active DoD Phase II contract is eligible to apply Phase II projects should be at or approaching a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 5 or 6 Up to One Year Extension of Existing Phase II Up to $500K SBIR Funds. Matching investment (one-for-one) from a DoD acquisition program, a non-SBIR/non-STTR government program or Private sector investments

Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited. 10 MDA Fast Track Program Purpose: To encourage the transition of SBIR projects into the BMDS All current Phase I awardees eligible Applications must be submitted within 120 days of the Phase I effective date – Phase II proposal within 180 days of Phase I effective date Firms with no prior Phase II awards will have a matching rate ($) of 1:4 Firms with at least 1 prior Phase II award will have a matching rate ($) of 1:1
