As per DJB Water Supply Figures. • वास्तविक उत्पादन 830 MGDका 40 प्रतिशत रिसाव हानि का दावा है 332 MGD • दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के सभी कार्यशील मीटर का औसत लगभग 22 किलोलीटर प्रतिमाह यह स्पष्ट रुप से दिखाता है कि कुल संयंत्रों का कुल उत्पादन 490 MGD से ज्यादा नहीं है। अत: दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के अनुसार कुल उत्पादन 490 MGD है। • उदाहरण: सोनिया विहार WTP उत्पादन - सभी तीनों पानी नालों के प्रवाह माप के अनुसार शोधित जल का उत्पादन मात्र 95 MGD है, जबकि इन संयंत्रों से प्रतिदिन 140 MGD जल के उत्पादन का दावा किया जाता है • पृथ्वी के नीचे उच्च घनत्व के कारण पानी का बहाव उपर से नीचे की ओर होता है, ऐसे में सतह पर कोई पत्यक्ष रिसाव नहीं है और हम कह सकते है कि वहां कोई रिसाव नहीं है • दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के पास रिसाव का पता लगाने के लिए कई उपकरण हैं। सर्वे के बाद दिल्ली जल बोर्ड का रिपोर्ट नगण्य रिसाव को स्पष्ट बताता है। JALADHIKAR 9810019753 gopalagarwal@hotmail.com

  9. लगाई गयी पाईप की आयु • JICA के अनुसार पाईपों की आयु 50 वर्ष है • As per MOUD/CPHEEO the CI pipe line in various part of India have been found giving satisfactory services even after 100 years of use. • Maximum age of existing pipelines is 78 years with some as new as 10 years only therefore there is sufficient life span left, plus DJB survey shows the condition of these pipes as good. The whole premise on which privatization argument is based is false • Own report of LD&I’s report dated 14/5/12 says only 0.00015% leakages. • Life is taking care of NRW is following manners. • DJB report says that there is sufficient life span left for the pipe lines. • a) Since there is negligible losses in the area hence the real increase of water through pipe replacement is not possible. • b) Water meters are already being installed by DJB through contractor with 5 years maintenance. • c) Billing system has already been handed over to Tata Consultancy Services to rectify unauthorized connections. Privatization of Distribution and Management of Water Services • Existing good Infrastructure is being transferred to private sector without any cost. • Initially the contractor are being awarded repairs contracts of total amount of Approximate Rs 1100 crores • Rate of operation charges being offered to contractor is Rs 4.15/KL, current rate of recovery is only 2.2/KL. Loss to DJB is 1.75KL. • Figure of leakages have been manipulated and its own department report is being ignored. • Shree P.K Tripathi the C.S of Delhi Govt. has given a statement in press declaring the LD&I’s report dated 14/5/12 false and baseless which has been subsequently denied by DJB. • All four water PPP projects of Nangloi, Malviya Nagar, Mehrauli, and VasantVihar are prepared in the interest of the syndicate of corrupt contractors.
