  1. Welcome to Oakland Catholic High School! Spirituality, Scholarship, Service

  2. Today isWednesday, September 17 Day 2

  3. Great volunteer opportunity to tutor children at the local Boys and Girls Club - sign up on the Campus Ministry board.

  4. Senior Student Ambassadors are to report to the Di Nardo Lecture Hall this morning after Homeroom for a brief meeting. Sophomore Student Ambassadors will meet tomorrow, Thursday September 18th, after Homeroom in the Lecture Hall.”

  5. Those seniors who are required to do the interdisciplinary research paper must turn in a topic form no later than Friday September 19th.  First semester research groups and mentors will be posted this week. If you have questions, or you need help with a topic, see Mr D in room 207.

  6. Interested in joining Forensics? • Come to the opening meeting for the 2014-15 Forensics season after school this Friday, September 19th. • See Mr. MacDonald or Mrs. Rinkacs if you have any questions.

  7. Come Support and Cheer on the OC Soccer Team on Monday September 29 @ Highmark Stadium as they take on Allderdice at 7:00pm. It is Senior Night!! Tickets are available for purchase in the Main Office they are $10.00 a ticket. OC gets a portion of the ticket sales so purchase your  tickets at school. GO SENIORS and GO EAGLES!!!!

  8. The cancer awareness club will be having it's first meeting, this Thursday, September 18th, right after school in Mrs. Rinkacs' room, J303. Please plan on attending to discuss this year's events. The meeting should last about a half hour and there will be food." 

  9. LATIN CLUB: WED, SEPT. 17 IT’S ELECTION DAY! COME TO ROOM 213 AND CAMPAIGN FOR A LEADERSHIP ROLE IN LATIN CLUB! THERE WILL BE FOOD!

  10. College Visits • September 17 Haverford University • September 18 Ohio University

  11. Good Luck, Golfers • AddyMcEvoy, Ireland Mauler, Sarah Mautino, and Francesca Corna will be competeing in the WPIAL Sectionals at 3 Lakes Golf Course today.

  12. On Thursday, September 25th, will be the first official meeting of the Oakland Catholic Science Fiction and Fantasy club! • We will be meeting in 213 in Mrs. Day's room. New members and old are welcome!

  13. Please pick up last year’s Semester II Art work between now and September 19. • After September 19, it will no longer be available.
