DISASTER RESPONSE & RECOVERY Planning and Response Teams (PRT) Emergency Power Water & Ice Debris Temporary Housing / Critical Public Facilities Infrastructure Assessment Temporary Roofing • How Do PRTs Work? • USACE Districts are proponents for FEMA missions • Teams rotate deployments LEGEND DISASTER • Team members: • Are all volunteer • All work for USACE • Are trained • Are capable of deploying within six hours notice

RFO & Contracting • Issue Title: Reinvigorate National CT Cadre • Problem Statement: Knowledge gap • Key Discussion Points: Trained Members as SMEs on contracting aspects of emergency acquisition (Stafford Act focused) • deploy to RFO (district or national cadre) • reach back • Action #1: Develop National level training with current SMEs • Action #2: Better publicize location of ACI (ENGLink) and other IDIQ contracts (SWF web site) • Action # 3 Include regional IDIQ in National data base. • Start Date: 9 Dec 2011 • Est.
