  2. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo 1) Kung ang Ingles ay going to do, ang pagpapahayag nito sa Filipino ay anyong kontemplatibo. If the English sentence means “going to verb” the way to express this thought in Filipino is through the future aspect.

  4. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo 2) Kung sa Ingles ay will verb, angpagpapahayag nito sa Filipino ay anyong kontemplatibo. If the English sentence denotes will verb,the way to express this in Filipino is through the future aspect.

  5. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo I will go to my grandma’s province I will plan for my trip. I will gather sea shells at the beach. • Pupuntahan ko ang probinsiya ng lola ko. • Magpaplano ako ng pagbibiyahe ko. • Mangunguha ako ng mga kabibe sa dalampasigan.

  6. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo 3) Kung sa Ingles ay will be doingat magpapatuloy ang aksyon sa hinaharap,angpagpapahayag nito sa Filipino ay anyong kontemplatibo. If the English sentence denotes “will be doing,”and the action will continue in some future time, the way to express this in Filipino is through the future aspect.

  7. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo Will you be studying or just visiting in the Philippines? • Mag-aaral ka ba o mamamasyal lang sa Pilipinas?

Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo 4) Kung ang pandiwa sa Ingles ay nasa anyong present progressive tense o ‘are you going to verb,’ halimbawa, ‘are planning a trip,’ ang tingin ng Pilipino sa aksyon, mangyayari pa lang sa hinaharap kaya kontemplatibo ang gagamitin niya; dahil hindi pa nangyayari ang aksyon. If the verb in English is present progresive form, for example are planning a trip, or are going to verb, a Filipino looks at the action as going to happen in a future time, ergo, the kontemplatibo is used.

  9. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo Where are you going? What are you doing in Mindanao? Which one are you getting? I am going to get my visa tomorrow. I will get my visa tomorrow. • Saan ka pupunta? • Anong gagawin mo sa Mindanao? • Alin ang kukunin mo? • Kukunin ko ang bisa ko bukas.

  10. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo 5) Ang Present Progressive ay kontemplatibo sa Filipino dahil hindi pa nangyayari ang askyon. The present progressive tense in English is kontemplatibo in Filipino because the action has not happened yet.

  11. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo Just wait, I am buying a ticket. • Sandali lang, bibili lang ako ng tiket.

  12. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo 6) Ang pandiwa sa Ingles na past progressive, halimbawa was/were going to do,ay kontemplatibo ang katumbas sa Filipino. Ginagamit ang kontemplatibo kasama ng Dapat sana (wish, hope, should be). The past progressive tense in English is kontemplatibo in Filipino because in expressing a wish, the action has not happened yet. Kontemplatibo is also used with Dapat Sana.

  13. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo We were hoping to go to Bohol. I was hoping to do the laundry when he arrived. I thought the plane was arriving at 12 noon. I thought you were leaving tomorrow. • Dapat sana pupunta kami ng Bohol. • Maglalaba sana ako nang dumating siya. • Akala ko alas dose ng tanghali darating ang eroplano. • Akala ko aaliskayo bukas.

  14. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo 7) Kung ang pangungusap sa Ingles ay “if verb present tense or present progressive tense,”sa Filipino, kontemplatiboang pandiwa dahil hindi pa nagaganap ang aksyon. If the English sentence is “if verb present tense or present progressive tense,” the equivalent of the verb is kontemplatibo because the action has not happened yet.

  15. Gamit ng aspektong kontemplatibo If you guys are leaving, I will go with you. If you give your permission, (respect particle) I will come along. If you are paying for the ticket, I will pay for the hotel. If I go to the Philippines, I want to see the Banaue Rice Terraces. • Kung aalis kayo, sasama ako. • Kung payag po kayo, sasama ako. • Kung ikaw ang magbabayad ng tiket, ako naman sa hotel. • Kung pupunta ako sa Pilipinas, gusto kong makita ang Banaue Rice Terraces.
