Launched in January 2011 and funded through TIG, this project developed five mobile apps to improve access to legal resources in Illinois. With substantial downloads (iOS: 790 & 473; Android: 79 & 146), these apps provide crucial information for legal assistance. Key lessons learned include the importance of setting and revisiting project scope, understanding that solutions vary, and the need for early and frequent testing. This initiative shows how mobile technology can bridge gaps in legal access and support pro bono efforts across the state.
