  10. Step1 Leading in • What is the function of hotel codes? • When can hotels exempt their liability? Hotel codes assist the travel agent partners in accessing member hotels rates and special offers, availability, and hotel information. When they meet events beyond their control, such as fire, terrorist activities, strikes, weather, and illness, their liability can be exempted.
