  1. ISYS100 Assignment-2(8 marks)- Due Week 9

  2. Groups and Topic • You have to be in a group of 3 or 4. • Choose a topic and get it approved as soon as possible since “NO TWO GROUPS IN THE SAME CLASS CAN DO THE SAME TOPIC” • Choose a name for your group

  3. Gmail Account • Create one Gmail account per group and share the passwords. • You have to use only Gmail account. • Hotmail/yahoo - not accepted.

  4. Twitter • Use the Gmail to create a Twitter account. • Its Group Twitter Account. ONE Twitter per Group. • Add me to your Twitter: ISYS100_MQ • Regular Tweets starting from Week 6 to Week 9.

  5. Wikispaces-1 • Using your common Gmail account, you have to create a single Wikispaces account. • Create one Wiki. • In that Wiki, go to ‘Manage Wiki’, ‘Members’ and put your personal addresses in. This would send a request to you.

  6. Wikispaces-2 • Accept the request and this would enable you to create a Wikispaces account. • Here on, you will use only your own account. Do not bother about the common Wikispaces account. • You can have pages where you can write your ideas. Each page has a discussion board where you can discuss( like forums)

  7. Wikispaces-Suggestions • You can create pages: 1 for every week or 1 for every post or 1 for every person. • Every page has a separate discussion board. • You HAVE to use Wikispaces for communication.

  8. Blog Requirements • Try to use Logos, Images, Videos, Templates, Labels(Tags) and Gadgets. • Post Content - at least 150 words • Posts with only You Tube videos, images will not be counted • Minimum: 3 posts per person

  9. Design Layout • Plan the design of your blog in the 1st week (Use Design tab) • Draw the layout using MS paint, save it, upload as an image in your post • You can also use paper and pencil to draw the layout, take a picture of it using your phone/camera and upload as an image in your post • Design layout should specify the colours you plan to use

  10. Marking • Regular tweets from Week6-every 2-3 days • Use of Wikispaces discussion board, pages • No. of. Posts • Design layout must be your 1st post • Report- 1 per group(In your assignment specs)
