2. Who are the main characters and how would you describe them Brian is the main character. He is very lonely. He is also very scared. He has to survive a while to the cause of the plane crash. The pilot died to so that’s how he is lonely and he was the only one on the plane.

3. When and where does the story take place The story takes in the Canadian wilderness. It took place in 1969. He is there because the pilot got a heart attack and the plane crashed and he was the only one on the plane. Now he is very lonely. Now all he is hoping for is a helicopter or someone to save him.

4. A Brief Summary • Brian is riding the plane and suddenly the pilot had a heart attack and died. Then the single engine plane crashes. Now he is stuck in the Canadian wilderness with only a shelter and his hatchet from his parents as a gift.

5. What is the Conflict/Resolution and climax • The climax is when the pilot has a heart attack. Then the single engine plane crashes in the lake. Then Brian has to use his surroundings and his hatchet to survive. The problem is that he is stuck in the Canadian wilderness by himself. Then the Resolution is that he know how to survive in the nature so he doesn’t die.

6. Describe an important part that will make people want to read your book The pilot has a heart attack. Then the plane loses control. Then Brian steers the plane into the lake. Brian is lonely cause he was the only one on the plane and the pilot died of a heart attack.

7. What would you rate this book? I would rate it five stars because it involves tons of action. It is a good book and also a tragedy. FIVE STARS!
