  4. Philosophy The association "Les Enfants Du Dragon" - "The Children of the Dragon" has the goal to help and support by humanitarian projects the children and the poorest in Vietnam. We achieve our goals by bringing them a secure environment that provides medical support, vital needs and instruction. The goal is to provide what they need to develop, integrate society, get some cultural knowledge, autonomy to give them a chance for a better life. Since our creation in 2009, we are active by several means: By building charity houses, giving a roof to families who live in extreme poverty, By supporting several orphanages and poorest school, By paying sanitary equipment, construction work to improve facilities, food donation, scholarship, By bringing clean water to remote villages and school, By building spirulina farms and by giving for free the big part of our production to sick people, old people, poor schools... Spirulina is a micro-algae considered by WHO as the "super nutriment" for the 21st century because of its composition in minerals and vitamins. Our heart project We did help until now in several small centers but facing difficulties to obtain more harshness in administration, management, application of basic hygiene rules in these structures from the persons in charge, we have wished to have our own centre. The project consists of creating a reception center for orphans and abandoned child with the objective of assuring their education and preparing them to be integrated into the locale social and economic environment. Our orphanage first phase construction has been completed by end of 2016. Surface is designed for welcoming 60 children. 40 more in second phase still looking for sponsors. After some long administrative process, we were able to welcome our first guests in 2018, with currently 7 babies on board The project registers in a dynamic toward education and training aiming insertion of those children within the society.   23. Our heart project - EDUCATION: (fighting against illiteracy and exclusion): giving children the possibility to become actors in their country, allowing them to profit from a normal scholarship. The centre "Les Enfants Du Dragon" will participate to the financial charges of studies for those orphans. - ART and CULTURE: creation of an artistic workshop to educate children to Vietnamese art and culture (for example: through painting, music and Vietnamese dances...). - TRAINING: The centre will include a training centre to manual activities and jobs aiming to provide particularly to those who would be limited in studies the basics allowing them to find a job. - HEALTH: The centre includes a medical office and regular medical survey of the children and in the future, local community, will be set up. 23 www.lesenfantsdudragon.com / contact@lesenfantsdudragon.com
