  2. JASMINE KAUR ,WHO DID RESEARCH ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY BRICK KILNS ,HAS BEEN INVITED BY THE FOUNDATION OF THE JAPAN TO DELIEVER LECTURES ON THE SAME .

Jalandhar girl Jasmine Kaur did the city proud when she got the invitation from FOJ to deliver lecture on environment al science .Her thesis project was brick manufacturing industry ,which has been selected by the FOJ for its conference .FOJ is a body that focuses on education for sustainable development ,environmental education find preservation on the natural environment and promotion of the sustainable development in communities ,it is a 12 days tour of different cities of Japan where jasmine would deliver the lectures along with participants from other countries .the trip would conclude on April 23. Taking her thesis ,she says ,’’KILNS are known to be heavy pollutants and not much attention has been given to make these pollution free .pollution in the kilns is not only harmful for labourers working there but also for the environment .kilns can be made environmental friendly be making some measures during the construction of the of the kilns.

And I worked on the topic and to complete my masters also submitted my thesis on the same issue .foundation of Japan appreciated my thesis and inviting me for delivering lectures Abut FOJ – Foundation of Japan is a body targeting candidates to led and forge the future of the next generation in the various countries .this programme aims at promoting a better understanding of Japan in the various layers of society and fields through discussion on critical issues in the east Asia so as to build –up a human network in east Asia.

The over all theme of the seminar is ‘’ENRICHING THE ENVIRONMENT FOR NATURE AND CULTURE :HARMONIOUS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN COMMUNITIES “.THIS PROGRAME IS BEING IMPLEMENTED AS PART OF THE JAPAN EAST ASIA NETWORK OF EXCHANGE OF STUDENTS AND YOUTHS PROGRAMME.” I REALLY APPERICIATE HER WORK TO PROMOTING ENVIRONMENT –FRIENDLY METHODS
