  2. JNF-KKL Germany greenXchange – Young Leadership Program Background • JNF-KKL is a well established organization in Germany. First office 1905 – Cologne. • Today - 4 offices in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt • 2/3 of JNF-KKL Germany donors are Christians • Most of the donors – older people. The facts • Jewish Community??? • Successful German-Israeli High School students exchange programs.

JNF-KKL Germany & KKL-JNF Israel greenXchange – Young Leadership Program Conclusion • The establishment of a joint German – Israeli Young Leadership program. • Join forces with KKL-JNF Israel (Future: develop this into a KKL-JNF European Program). The Plan • Build a multifaceted “Green” program for Young Professionals who have some “Environmental” interest and will assist in fundraising.

First Step – A Seminar in Israel: September 18th – September 25th 2011 Call for Applications greenXchange wishes to organize a seminar - in Israel followed by another one in Germany- through which participants from both countries will be offered …… Eligible Candidates Candidates must be Israeli or German young professionals between 22 - 35 years old who are eager to engage in a long term bilateral green initiative and ….

JNF-KKL Germany & KKL-JNF Israel greenXchange – Young Leadership Program The Action • We have established in 2011 a new young leadership program (24 participants) - greenXchange. • It is quite different from the programs we studied from other countries. The Result • Highly educated and intelligent “Green” group • Very motivated and superb German – Israeli chemistry

Goals – People, Information, Action (PIA) • Exchange knowledge and expertise • Platform for cooperative business initiatives, research positions and job offers • Involvement of GreenXchangeparticipants in KKL-JNF activities, join actively and take responsibilities. • Assist KKL-JNF to raise awareness in Germany and Israel (and beyond) through events, lectures, fundraising for greenXchange and KKL projects, etc. • Expansion into additional European countries

Already in Action • Facebook and Website • Preparation of next seminar while establishing the following Committees: • Strategic Group (defining future guidelines for the greenXchange initiative) • Fundraising Group (raising funds for the realization of your second excursion) • Content Group (organizing one day or more of your second excursion) • Capacity Group (enabling the collaboration de facto e.g. creating an online platform shared by the participants)
