  5. Concathedral • Concathedral is 54 meters long, 34 meters wide, 16 meters high, but the tower is 71 meters high • Five altars and two organs • Big organ has 3,480 fluepipes and 20 bells • Small organ is older than big organ

  7. History Calvaryof Prešov is a coplexofbaroquechapells and thecentralchurch, situated on a hillatthewestedgeofthetown. In thepastitwasconsideredasoneofthe most beautifulcalvaries in Ugria. Buildingbegan in 1720 butthewholecomplexwasfinished in the 1893. Thecalvaryincludes 15 chapellscatacombscemetery and thechurchofsaintcross

  8. Thechurchofsaintcross Itisthebaroquechurchbuilt in 1753 . Buildingworkswereled by František Perger. Interiorwall-paintings are creationof Prešov painter, Ondrej Trtina. Innerspaceisopticalyextended. Beyondaltar ,there are threecrosses . In thechurchthere are alsothreebells and an organ . Thechurchwashallowed in 1769.

  10. History Thisfountainistheonlyoneorginalypreservedtowncistern. Therewere 10 similarcistern in thetownbefore. Marek Holländer,the Jewish trador, had thesculpturebuiltas a thanksto thetownconcilfor a permission to runbussines in Prešov. Thesculpturewasbuilt in 1826 by Vincent Staviarskyand restoredatthebeginningof20. century.

  12. History Thesculptureissituatedatthenorthern part oftownsquare. Itisincorrectlycalled Trojica. Sincethe 1687 therewas a scaffoldof Prešov bloodycourt. In 1751 Jesuits had thesculpturebuiltaccordig to reassonsthat are notactuallyclear.

  13. Thesandstonesculptureis a creationofunknownartist. Thebasisofthesculptureisgilded statue of Madona with a baby, crown and a sceptre.There are onlyfewstatuespreservednow. The monument wasrestored in 1967 and then in 1995-1997.
