  3. Songs for Teaching • www.songsforteaching.com • I know everyone has a link to this one, but this is a good way to access this site. It seems like a good resource. "Promoting Literacy Through Music" by Laura Woodall and Brenda Ziembroski

  4. Teach History Through Song • www.edu-cybergp.com • This article, “American Culture Makers”, leans more into music ed as an interdisciplinary tool. But, it is yet again, a good resource.

  5. Early Childhood Research and Practice • ecrp.uiuc.edu • Really interesting article, “The Effects of Music Instruction on Emergent Literacy Capacities among Preschool Children: A Literature Review”, about literacy development in pre-K with music by Jonathon Bolduc, University of Ottawa.
