Tyr 385 (gelb) ist für die radikalische Abstraktion eines Wasserstoffs von C13 der Arachidonsäure verantwortlich. Die Atome des Proteins sind weitgehend ausgeblendet, der Reaktionskanal ist mit transparenter Oberfläche angedeutet. Die gezeigte Geometrie basiert auf den kristallographisch bestimmten Komplexen der COX mit Arachidonsäure und PGH2.
