  6. Timothy Fransis Leary:   Timothy Francis Leary was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. After his schooling he earned his PhD in psychology. In 1960 while on a trip to Mexico, Leary had his first experience with mushrooms. After a few years, he went back to Harvard and participated in the ‘Harvard Psilocybin Project’. Michael Hollingshead introduced LSD to Leary. He later said LCD was the "the most shattering experience of his life". Leary became a speaker for LSD and explained the effects and uses of the drug, LSD. He spoke to encourage people to "turn on, tune in, and drop out". Leary’s daughter was caught with marijuana leaving Mexico, another time. Because Leary took responsibility, he was convicted of marijuana possession, and was put in prison for 30 years. Leary’s case became unconstitutional after he appealed the case.1970, again, Leary was convicted of the possession of marijuana and spent more time in prison, 10 years. Leary escaped from the prison’s security and moved in a frantic to Algeria and then Switzerland. In 1973 he was caught and placed back into prison in California by DEA in Afghanistan. After prison Leary became interested in cyber culture and the real reality in life. In the last twenty years of Leary’s life, he wrote and lectures a group of people.
