  1. How to Be a Soul Winner He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:6

  2. The Urgency of Soul Winning Could a mariner sit idle if he heard the drowning cry? Could a doctor sit in comfort and just let his patients die? Could a fireman sit idle, let men burn and give no hand? Can you sit at ease in Zion with the world around you DAMNED?

  3. Soul Winning is Witnessing • A witness is a person who tells something that he or she saw and knows. • The purpose of our witness – win people to Jesus, Build them & send them. A true witness delivers souls (Proverbs 14:25)

  4. Soul Winning is Introducing People to a Person In a way . . . introducing Christ to a person is the same as any other introduction.

  5. Soul Winning is Planting and Harvesting • In the Parable of the Sower,the Seed is the Word of God. • Some of the Seed grew; some didn’t. • The sower was always the same. • The Seed was the same. • The ground where it was planted varied.

  6. Why God Wants You to Be a Soul Winner • And he said unto them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15) • But ye shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8) • A true witness delivers souls (Proverbs 14:25) God commands it

  7. Why God Wants You to Be a Soul Winner • People are going to Hell without Jesus • If your neighbor’s house was on fire, wouldn’t you try to save them? • Why would you do any less for the people who are going to Hell?

  9. How to Make Soul Winning Part of Your Christian Life • Make a list of people you are concerned about • Pray and place a demand for their souls • Invite them to Church service or Cell group • Make available to them our ministry Materials.

  10. You Can Be a Soul Winner! God will give you souls. You just have to want them badly enough.

How to Explain the Gospel Clearly • Don’t assume the person is a Christian. • Use words the lost person understands and would likely be comfortable with. • Point out the verses in your marked Bible. • Remember: your job is to help the person understand theGood News and make a decision for Christ.

  12. X-Ray Question #1 If you were to die tonight, do you know for sure that you would go to Heaven? If they answer “No,” they are either lost, backslidden or misguided. If they answer “Yes,” they may or may not be saved. Regardless of how they answer, go on to Question #2. Our job is not to judge people, but, like a doctor, to diagnose people so we can determine how to help them.

  13. X-Ray Question #2 Suppose you did die tonight, and God asked you, “Why should I let you into My Heaven?” – What would you tell Him? Their answer to this question will tell you a lot about their spiritual Condition. Their answer will fall into one of two categories: WORKS or GRACE

  14. 1 John 5:13These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you haveeternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. Important Truths You can have eternal life. You can have it now (you don’t have to wait until you get to Heaven to get it). You can know that you have it. The Statement of Fact

  15. What happened, because of Adam’s sin • Suppose you had a 10-gallon jug of clean water. • Someone put 1 drop of poison into it. Would you drink it? • Sin was like that drop of poison. One drop polluted the whole human race. The next verse I’m going to show you has some bad news and some good news. I’m going to show you the bad news first.

  16. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The Good News is that God provided the Remedy for your sins. If I were to offer you a gift, would you have to work for it, or pay me for it? What do you have to do to receive a gift? If you didn’t take the gift, would you have it? Eternal life is a Gift from God. He paid for it. But if you never take it, you will never have it. The Gift

  17. Romans 5:8But God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. What was the wages of sin? Death. What did Jesus do for you? He died. He took your punishment for your sins. How many people do you know who love you enough that they would die for you? That’s how much Jesus loves you. He died for you. God’s Love for You

  18. 2 Corinthians 5:21For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Jesus took the punishment that you and I deserve so we could Have his life. God’s Perfect Substitute

  19. Romans 10:9-10that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. Believe – not enough to believe the facts about Jesus. Trust Him to save you. Believe in Your Heart

  20. (Rom 10:13)For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Does this make sense to you? Would you like for us to bow our heads together while you let God know you want to receive the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior? The Invitation

  21. How to Draw the Net Is there any reason why you would not want to receive Christ now?

  22. Happy Birthday Remember today’s date and write it in your Bible. The Bible says that you are Born Again when Jesus comes into your life. Being bornagain, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Pe 1:23)
