  1. A tour of our school By: Lois Irvine and Jodie Grant.

  2. Meet the Principal • Our Principal is called Mr Maxwell. • He enjoys to speak in different languages. • He might sometimes give assemblies in different languages e.g. German, his favourite language.

  3. Pupil information • In Markethill High school, we have approximately 500 pupils. • Pupils are aged between 11 and 16 years of age. • Pupils leave school once they complete their GCSE exams.

  4. School facilities • In school we have excellent facilities. • For example, we have clean toilets, litter bins and a lift when required. • We also have a library and two computer rooms installed with laptops. • We have an Apple Mac suite also.

  5. Sports facilities • In our school we have great sporting facilities. • We have a gym, a football pitch, hockey pitch, tennis courts, rugby pitch and a sports hall.

  6. Our school is environmentally friendly! • We have bins for litter around the school. • If there is too much litter around the school the tuck shop closes until there are improvements. • We also recycle what we can.
