1. Dog Training Classes VCA Allen Park Animal Hospital5401 Allen Road, Allen Park, MI • Puppy Class – Socialization with other dogs & people, your puppy will learn to be in a new and different place. We will be covering the following; Behaviors: house training, chewing, biting, greeting people, behaving during veterinary visits, & how to walk nicely on a leash, Commands: sit, stay, come, & down. (8–16 Weeks of Age) • New Beginnings Class – Older puppies and adult dogs, it is never too late to learn new tricks. This class will cover the same material as the puppy class but is for older dogs. We will be covering the following; Behaviors: house training, chewing, biting, greeting people, behaving during veterinary visits, & how to walk nicely on a leash, Commands: sit, stay, come, & down. (16+ Weeks of Age) • Intermediate Class – We will work with you to expand your pet’s knowledge of commands and continued improvement of positive behaviors. We will be working the following; Behavior: greeting people, Commands: come with distractions, stay with distractions, wait, stand, & heal. Also we will introduce a couple of tricks. You will be the envy of your friends with such a well behaved pet! (16+ Weeks of Age) Prerequisite: a beginner class within 1 year or VCA trainer evaluation of pet.
