Effects of Sildenafil and Tadalafil on Hemodynamics in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

This study examines the hemodynamic effects of Sildenafil and Tadalafil in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It evaluates parameters such as mean pulmonary arterial pressure (PAP), cardiac output (CO), central venous pressure (CVP), and hepatic venous pressure gradient (HVPG) at various intervals: immediately, at 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes, and after 6 months of treatment. The findings aim to enhance understanding of the medications' efficacy in managing PAH and improving patient outcomes.
