AUTOMATICO Las Torres Trango ofrecen algunos de los acantilados de roca más grandes y difíciles de escalar en el mundo, entre ellos, la considerada caída vertical más abrupta y extensa del mundo, un verdadero desafío y atractivo para escaladores de todo el planeta. Aunque muchas de las mediciones de las elevaciones están sujetas a una considerable incertidumbre por la falta de precisión, se calcula que la cara oriental de la Gran Torre de Trango es la caída vertical más abrupta del mundo, con unos 1340 metros casi perpendiculares al suelo. Gran Trango es un gran macizo, identificable con cuatro cumbres que se destacan como si fuera un verdadero skyline: la Torre Principal (6286 m), del Sur o Suroeste (6250 m), Oriental (6231 m), y la Torre Oeste (6223 m). El conjunto es una combinación compleja de empinados barrancos de nieve y hielo, laderas de roca escarpadas y abruptas caídas verticales, coronadas por una cresta de nieve.
