Insights into NCDS and BCS70: Current Data, New Surveys, and Social Participation

This presentation aims to provide an overview of the currently available data from the National Child Development Study (NCDS) and the 1970 British Cohort Study (BCS70). It will discuss the new surveys initiated in 2008, with additional data to be available in 2009. Qualitative work on social participation will be reviewed alongside the experiences of NCDS cohort members in the study. Furthermore, the potential for cross-cohort comparisons will be explored to enhance our understanding of longitudinal data implications.
