  2. Where is Cal State Fullerton? We are located in the North-East portion Of orange County. We are 8 miles from Disneyland, 17 miles from John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, and 36 miles east of Los Angeles airport. Cal State LA – 27 miles Cal State Dominguez Hills – 28 miles Cal Poly Pomona – 15 miles Cal State San Marcos – 77 miles Cal State San Bernardino – 50 miles Cal State Northridge – 54 miles Cal State Long Beach – 24 miles

  3. Who is Cal State Fullerton? • Cal State Fullerton is an urban campus with a Fall 2013 enrollment of over 38,000 students. • We offer over 100 degree programs across 8 colleges. We are designated as both an Hispanic-serving Institution and as an Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-serving institution.

Who is Cal State Fullerton (cont.)? • U.S. News & World Report (September 2012) ranks CSUF among “Top Public Universities,” (No. 5 among Top Public Regional Universities” in the West. • Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education (May 2012) ranks CSUF No. 1 in California and fourth in the nation among top colleges and universities awarding bachelor’s degrees to Hispanics. • The nationally recognized Mihaylo College of Business and Economics is the largest accredited business school on the West Coast. • CSUF is the only university teacher preparation institution in Orange County that is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

Signature Academic Programs • The Biology Undergraduate Research Scholars Training program, or "BURST," promotes student involvement in faculty-mentored research • DC Scholars Program, students work as interns for elected officials, nonprofit groups, lobbying firms and other agencies in Washington, D.C. Student Life • Cal State Fullerton students have over 350 clubs and organizations to choose from as well as hands-on community service opportunities, and numerous student leadership development opportunities. • Our Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) provides part-time employment for more than 300 students, advocates on the state and local level for CSUF students, and is funded entirely by student fees. • We are an NCAA Division I campus offering baseball (m), basketball (m,w), cross country (m,w), golf (m,w), soccer, (m,w), track and field (m), softball (w), tennis (w), volleyball (w), indoor and outdoor track and field (w) • Housing is available in dorm style and apartment style

The deadline for FTF is May 1 and the deadline for UDTs is June 1.
