International Activities • ENAV is involved on different international frameworks related to PBN: • Procedure design • Training • Flight validation and inspection • ICAO Navigation System Panel • Proactive participation on GNSS Monitoring and Recording activities • Malesya airspace redesign • One of the objectives outside Italian airspace is to foster GNSS adoption in the Mediterranean area: • Participation to regional Go Teams for countries interested on taking benefit from Bluemed • BLUEMED • MEDUSA

BLUEMED BLUEMED is on the Implementation phase Implementation programme defined covering PBN also • Elaboration of a BLUE MED PBN implementation policy • Elaboration of a BLUE MED FAB roadmap • First phase: • Approach Procedures with vertical guidance (target:2016 within BM FAB) • Updated airport list maintained at Interim Deployment Programme level • Second phase: • Harmonization plan (including analysis of next PBN IR) • Overall FAB reporting provided to EC under the Interim Deployment Steering Group framework • Elaboration of ICAO conformity guidelines

MEDUSA Assisting the Euromed countries (namely Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Libya, Syria, Jordan, Palestine) in their path towards the exploitation and operational adoption of EGNOS services in civil aviation and freight transport (identified as priority applications in METIS project, MEDUSA’s precursor) • Sharing best practices, for enabling the countries to start the preparation and the implementation of necessary steps and enablers, in view of the EGNOS service coverage • Contributing to technological transfer and capacity building for service exploitation • Establishment of a long-term permanent structure named GEMCO (Galileo Euromed Cooperation Office), acting as catalyst and incubator of E-GNSS initiatives in all domains and involving the Euromed countries ENAV contributes with: • GNSS experts • Aircraft fleet for procedure validation • Procedures design
