  1. Using the PDF Printer (Rev 1) Stephen S. LinkinHCCS 2010 Before Installing this Application Program, be sure you have Administrator Authority, and it does not conflict with any installed versions of Acrobat

  2. Start Print Process • Use the “Print” command from the Office Button or the File menu • This is important

  3. Selecting the Printer • Be sure and select the “PrimoPDF” virtual printer • Select all Desired Options(Do not select “Print to File”) • Click OK

  4. Creating the PDF file • Select the Screen or Print options(Default is best) • Use the “Save As” control options to “Ask when creating PDF” • To review the printout select option“Open PDF” • The PDF file is created

  5. Storing The File • This opens the “SAVE AS” Dialogue Box • Select a Drive • Then a Folder • Type an Appropriate File Name • Then Save…

  6. Save Options: • If a file with the same name exists in the same location you have two options… • Append(Add new pages to the existing file) • Overwrite(Replace the old file with the new one) • The Choice is up to you unless the instructor informs you otherwise

  7. Conclusion • Depending upon options taken you should be able to… • read • and print this file • You may also attach it to e-mail and send it (Remember to “Zip” it first)
