Adobe moves away from Mobile Flash "We will no longer continue to develop Flash Player in the browser to work with new mobile device configurations — chipset, browser, OS version, etc. following the upcoming release of Flash Player 11.1 for Android and BlackBerry PlayBook,” –Danny Winokur, VP of management.

  3. Flash • Used on 99% of internet browsers and media players. • Requires plug-ins • Mobile Flash requires a lot of resources • Not as prevalent as HTML5

  4. HTML5 • .xhtml, .xht, .xml, .html, .htm • Synthesis of several technologies • Allows for deployment with immersive applications • Quicker access and more tools for online viewing • Popular among current mobile devices
