  2. What Is Thanksgiving? :p • 1.prayer of thanks: a prayer that offers thanks to God • 2. giving of thanks: an expression or an act of giving thanks • 3. public acknowledgment of divine goodness: a public acknowledgment or celebration of divine goodness

  3. The First Thanksgiving :) • The English colonists we call Pilgrims celebrated days of thanksgiving as part of their religion. But these were days of prayer, not days of feasting. Our national holiday really stems from the feast held in the autumn of 1621 by the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag to celebrate the colony's first successful harvest.

  4. Common Thanksgiving Foods :D • Turkey, Ham, Cheese cake, And Stuffing.

  5. Thanksgiving Festivities :} • The first thanksgiving football game took place on 1934. • The Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is the most famous Thanksgiving Day parade in the US and an iconic event, widely broadcast and viewed by millions in addition to the huge crowds lining its route.

  6. How Is Thanksgiving Celebrated In Other Countrys. <:+) • Thanksgiving Day in India is celebrated in quite a few parts of India, because of the spread of western culture. It is a major festivity observed by Christians primarily in the state of Goa, which is India's smallest state in terms of area and the second smallest in terms of population. • Pakistan spends 3 days of thanksgiving for their celebration, which is done on the 10th month of the Muslim calendar. The younger family members pay respect and visit homes of elder relatives.

  7. My Thanksgiving Traditions • My family thanksgiving traditions is we will go to my grandmas house and eat a bunch of food she makes the best turkey. And then we get together and play really fun boarded games!!!!

  8. My Favorite Thanksgiving Foods • My favorite thanksgiving food. cheese cake, turkey, and pumpkin pie.

  9. What Am I Thankful For • I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and a mother and father that feed me every day.
