COLLECTION FOR DONATION TO RED CRESCENT IN ORDER TO HELP CHILDREN VICTIMISED BY CONFLICT The 187 National Societies of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) make up the largest humanitarian organization in the world. IFRC members work together to make a difference - to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilizing the power of humanity. They work for promotion of fundamental principles and humanitarian values Disaster response, Disaster preparedness, Health and care in the community. The students council members of JSS International School appealed to all the students, staff and parent community of JSS IS to donate useful items to help the children victimized by conflict. The collected items have been dispatched safely to RED CRESCENT society of U.A.E , and the society will send the items to needy children victimized by various conflicts.

  2. It was indeed a moment of pleasure for the student council members and other volunteers when all the students made huge donations. Many parent volunteers came forward to help with packing collected items like baby food, soft toys, biscuits, diapers etc. in cartons. Needless to mention the enthusiasm of students while packing all the received items Neatly in boxes.

  3. It is commendable to receive help from the tiny volunteer of KG2…WELL DONE SAMIKSHA!!! Volunteers busy with packing… Are we ready to load it in bus for taking it to Red Crescent office in Dubai? Yes!

With Mr. Ahmed &Mr. Aladdin of Red Crescent It is a wonderful feeling to receive so many compliments from the coordinator of Red Crescent where he praised our efforts for making a difference in the lives of so many unfortunate children. This effort on part of student council members, students, staff and parents of JSS International school may be just a drop in the ocean but we truly believe every drop fills the ocean
