  1. Environmental Services (GAW) and NowcastingS. Nickovic (WMO) CAS, EC-64 emphasis on the growing importance of environmental services for megacities and large urban complexes. Nowcasting Working Group and Mesoscale WG – to consider potential for research and cooperation with the GAW Programme (GURME). The activities of the two working groups, focusing of high resolution and short timescale features including QPE and QPF, are quite central to this initiative being led by GAW.
