What does the Constitution say about the role and powers of the US President in War making? • 2. Review the passages from the War Powers Resolution in 1973. How does the WPR impact the powers of Congress and the President over War Making?

On Friday, you will complete an FRQ writing on Globalization and ONE ISSUE below in which you take a stance and support your position on the issue. • 1.) Defend or Reject – The US needs to develop a new and better balanced system for deciding whether to make war against another country? • 2.) Defend or Reject – Based on the information at this point, the US is authorized to use military force against military targets in the al-Assad Regime in Syria.
