  2. Teenagers in Houston are listening to: • Teenagers like to listen to a variety of music, ranging from Pop to Rap. • In this presentation, you will learn the different kinds of music and music artists teenagers like to listen to in Houston, Texas.

  3. Pop & R-n-B • Destiny’s Child is one of the hottest R-n-B/Pop trios around. • The group includes vocalists: Beyonce, Michelle, and Kelly. • Destiny’s Child’s hometown is Houston, Texas!

  4. Pop • Christina Aguilera is one of the female artists that Houston teenagers listen to most. • Christina’s latest hit and singles are: “Come on Over,” and “Nobody Wants to Be Lonely,” her duet w/ Ricky Martin.

  5. Pop • Dream has reached #1 MTV’s Total Request Live (TRL), with their hit singles: “He Loves U Not”, and “This is Me” • Dream’s manager is P.Diddy also known as Sean “Puffy” Combs

  6. Pop • N*Sync has sold over 5 million copies in the U.S. alone. • N*Sync is popular all over the world, and has beaten the Backstreet Boys in record sales by millions.

  7. Rap • Nelly has had hit singles like: “Country Grammar,” “E.I,” and “Ride Wit’ Me.” • Nelly was also voted for the “25 Most Hottest Stars Under 25.”

  8. Latin/Pop • Jennifer Lopez is one of the most popular Hispanic women in the music industry. • Jennifer’s music is mixed with a Latin and salsa beat, with a Pop sound. • Hit singles: “Love don’t cost a Thing, and “Play.”

  9. Rock • Limp Bizkit’s latest album, “Chocolate Starfish and Hotdog Flavored Water,” has sold over 3 million copies. • Limp Bizkit has sang songs with artists like rappers: Xzibit & Method Man

  10. Hip Hop • OutKast is made up of two members, Dre & Big Boi • Teenagers like listening to OutKast’s hip hop and rap vibe, especially their latest single, “So Fresh, So Clean”
