  1. Wombat • Herbivore mammals eating only at night grass, shrubs, roots, and bark chewing constantly to keep teeth from over growing. They are only found in woodland and coastal shrub lands of Australia living in burrows dug with their long claws. They range from 39-47 inches and weigh from 44-77 Ibs. with a speed of up to 25 mph. They can live from 20-26 years with a solitary life in the wild with just a few predators such as the dingo, fox, wild dogs and humans. They are marsupials that give birth on and average of one per litter. • They are endanger by habitat loss and over hunting. • Conserving their native land and regulating hunting laws can save these animals from extinction
