  6. G - Mini Kickers Contents of the Training: • Play with different materials ie: Hula Hoops, Sticks, Boxes, Band, Balloons etc. • Games with different balls • All round performances with the ball at the feet • Different games ie: throwing, running etc. • Easy games of running & catching

  10. G - Mini Kickers Appropriate Playing Age: • Small teams: Ideal 3v3 or 4v4 small pitch10x15m(4-4) • Easy rules generously explained • No offside or throw-in ( maybe. Roll in) No League tables!

  11. F & E - Juniors Typical Features of This Age Group: • Strong movement & joy of playing • Strong enthusiasm, to compare yourself with others • Coordinative problems & weaker muscles • Low concentration • Strong uncritical orientation to an adult role model

F & E - Juniors Objectives of F & E Junior football: • Mediation to the idea ”score goals & prevent goals” • Promote the joy of football • To learn the important techniques of football in the easiest form • Provide playful & versatile sporting events • Coordinative basics • Promote self confidence, team spirit & creativity

F & E - Juniors Contents of the Training: • Free games of football with small teams onto goal 2v2,3v3,4v4 • Motivated tasks suitable for children, to teach the technical basics of dribble, pass & shoot • Performances with a ball & small games not just football • Catching games, stagger & obstacle courses to promote the movement skills

  14. F & E - Juniors Training Structure: Warm up • F & E- Juniors do not need a targeted warm up! • Children in this age want to move & let off steam, therefore offer them interesting catch & run games

  15. F & E - Juniors Training Structure: Bulk • The focus should be exercise tasks & motivational games to learn the basic techniques • A lot of movement & ball contact for each player • Avoid long waiting times! Work in small groups!

  17. F & E - Juniors Appropriate Playing Age: • The ideal game is 7v7 on a pitch size 55x36 Meter • Easy suitable rules for children • Rolling subs are allowed!

  18. F & E - Juniors Correct Coaching at a Game: • The children must play in different positions! Even being the Goalie! • Short meetings before the game, easy tips, always say it in a positive way! • Only sporadically interfere into the game, but always encourage & praise them • In principle the children must learn to decide for themselves! ! ! • No Championship & league tables!

D & C – Juniors Typical Features of this Age Group: • Physical & mental balance with the D-Juniors • Positive personality, self confidence & improved concentration at this golden learning age • High learning & willingness • Strong coordination assets • At the end of D and the start of C-Junior is the physical & mental break with entering puberty.

D & C - Juniors Objectives of D & C Junior Football: • Have fun playing football • Systematic learning & reinforcement to the basic techniques • Apply the techniques in different playing situations under pressure from the opponent! • Playfully obtain a tactical basis • Promotion of positive characteristics such as independence, motivation & regular training

D & C - Juniors Contents of the Training: • Motivation, individual & group exercises with the ball, to grind in the basic techniques • Training 1v1 • Playing with small teams focusing on specifics (Technique/Tactics) • Especially for C’s: Motivated strengthening exercises, mobility programs, response & start exercises with the ball

  22. D & C - Juniors Training Structure: Warm up • Interesting warm up with the ball (single, pairs or in small groups) • Catching games, fit in staggering & coordinative tasks • Start with 5min individual training, the players try out with the ball • Stretching & stabilization exercises

  23. D & C - Juniors Training Structure: Bulk • Play in small groups (4v4) for a technical/tactical main focus • In between exercise types with the same topic • Choose the tasks, so that the organisation need not to be changed, therefore you don’t loose any training time!

  24. D & C - Juniors Training Structure: The Final Part • Games in small groups onto the goals • Additional game rules to be mentioned again from the bulk part • At the end you should not exceed 7v7. With more players play a small tournament (4v4)

  25. D & C - Juniors Appropriate Playing Age: • D-Junior step by step forward to 11v11 optimal pitch size 65 x 80 with 5m x 2m goals • C-Junior should use the full pitch with full size goals Game systems & tactics should not be under or over pushed!

D & C - Juniors Correct Coaching During a Game: • Cheer the children positively, influence them but don’t give them to much information from the sideline • Influence the parents', if they criticise the children • Use every player! • At half time, give them drinks, & give a lot of praise • Only give a few instructions for the up coming half!

B & A - Juniors Typical Features for This Age Group: • Improved performance through physical changes: Balancing the bodies proportions/power growth • Improved coordination • Greater willingness to learn • Awareness of factual problems & players, striving for independence & recognition as an equal partner

B & A - Juniors Objective B & A Junior Football: • Having fun to play football • Learn the technical & tactical fundamentals, adapt to the increased demands of the game, especially the training of a dynamic “betting-technique” • Targeted training of special tactical priorities • Promote self-confidence & responsibility

B & A - Juniors Contents of the Training: • Systematically used forms of play with different sized groups on specific technical and tactical focus • More sophisticated complex exercises on the same focus • Shape the game to improve coordination • Inaugural exercises & jump combinations • Races for the ball followed by action • Regular motion & strengthening programs
