Emulsion paint and enamel wall paint are different terminologies altogether. • Emulsion paints have water mixed with various non-volatile elements like linseed oil varnish that acts as a binder and can be removed with soap and water • While enamel paint is a long-lasting solvent-based paint and can only be removed with the help of a solvent.

  3. Emulsion wall paints have an attractive smell, unlike the other paints that leave a distinctively unpleasant odour. They are durable as they do not crack in the sunlight. Emulsion paints can be washed easily and are expensive compared to the other paints as the quality makes the difference.

  4. Emulsion paints are used to paint ceilings, walls of dining rooms, bedrooms, sitting rooms primarily suitable for the main area showrooms as it is ideal in masking surface imperfections due to their smooth finish and also highly stain resistant.
