Design/layout Amenities Adequate # of bathrooms for men and women/more Adequate # of concessions & food to target market Adequate # of parking areas to alleviate traffic jams and provide convenience/location Both private and public Public Transportation Club level amenities Wi-Fi - ATM Cup holders Handicap • Well marked signs • Adequate # of entrances/exits into venue • Unobstructed views from seats • East to find seats • Wide seats for comfort • Modern scoreboard(s) • Building materials, texture, colors, sound impact • Concessions and bathrooms are convenient to locate

Personnel Security Security can assist to maintain attractiveness of venue and improve the experience for attendees Security guards & police First Aid – DD programs Lost/found – items/child Announcements/paging If a facility is not secure, people will not attend to avoid dangerous situations • Personnel can assist to maintain attractivenessof venue and improve the experiencefor attendees • Maintenance • Parking • Ushers • Ticket Sales/taker • Concession • Gate & section

SEM1 4.05 Activity • Students will work in pairs and do the following: • Choose a sports or entertainment event • Design & create a Kiosk that you would see at the event – draw & color the kiosk • Examples can be concessions, (beverages, nachos, cheese steaks, etc.) merchandise (hats, tees, posters, mugs, etc.) or promotional (sign up today for our new credit card…) • Illustrate how the merchandise will be displayed (physical layout) • Provide a list of merchandise and prices • Choose and illustrate the location of the kiosk • Explain why you chose that location
